Day Z commander and Lingor installation

It did for me but it works fine, I had to restart DayZ commander a couple times.

Well the latest DayZ Commander now allows installation of Lingor Island, through the UI. It was taking ages to update through the Older version of D.C. I downloaded D.C. again and installed it after a few P.C restarts. No biggie, sorted itself out.

Now I can play Lingor and the server lists are huge with filter options as I like.

Yeah, it's a 500mb archive you gotta download, not always fast... I'm working on what I can do though to improve the installation speed portion.

Each and every time I select install for Lingor, Day Z commander crashes.. any ideas?

I used it yesterday and it worked like a charm.

I must have something wrong in my filters though.

I heard there were a lot of Lingor Servers and I only had about 5 or 6 on my list.

But I hoped into one of the ones on the list and everything ran smooth.

It was a lot of fun not knowing where anything was again.

Everyone is packed in tight and you run into folks in the darndest places.

I found a map and played for about 3 hours and still have no idea where I am on the Island.

Boo! I started downloading, rocketed right through to 96% and then stopped. Wouldn't do a thing. I restarted Day Z commander and it said checking integrity or something similar, and then started downloading again. Now it's downloading at 0.5% a minute.. :(

ok so if I download Lingor and play it, will my character in Chernarus get deleted? or can i have 2 separate characters, one each for the two maps.

Whats the hacker/script kiddie situation like on Lingor?

Ok i dl Lingor via Dayzcommander, all seems fine except when i launch the game. I get into the lobby, for a second then get kicked back to the main menu. From there i can't seem to find a Lingor server, no matter what i stick in the filter box????

Any ideas or help, please? :huh:

just to clarify. ALL lingor is private. its NOT connected to the main hive.

so you can have 2 chars yes.

Just imagine the coord nightmare if thoose two maps where on the same DB. log out at green mountain and then dropping 200 meters when logging into lingor XD not good hehe.

So all lingor is private, although some hosters seems to have a lingor DB with several server connected, again private DB :)

I do know the vilayer.com lingor server's are connected to a single vilayer hive... probably your best bet if you are wanting to hop between several and still have the same gear.

To clarify this, Lingor Runs on Private Hives. Diferent Server Hosts Maintain their own hives, for example all the Vilayer Lingor Servers and connected to the Vilayer Lingor Hive and your gear will move with you from Vilayer Server to Vilayer Server. The Chernarus Privates are done the same on the Vilayer Chernarus Hive. *Seems this explanation may have been late.*

There are a few hives out there, HFB is running a small one, but IMO its a failed attempt. I believe the Vilayer Hive is the largest concentration of connected private hive servers.

Make sure you click the "Clear all filters" button, and then use the mod drop down filter to specify "DayZ Lingor Only'.

After that, do a Refresh All Servers and see what you find.

I read this entire post in 10min... OH LOOK LINGOR IS 9% done.... this is like redownloading arma itself..
