It's suicide.On high population servers absolutely agree with you, almost like putting up a flare at night to announce your presence. I was trying for a low pop server to get kitted out quickly and set up a camp for a buddy I'm trying to get into the game. I think it helps with upping the immersion factor in the sense you're so much more invested (at least I am), when you put time into building out a vehicle, etc...
