doglover 26 Posted September 3, 2012 Hello friends,As a student of nutrition and homeopathy, I can attest that the diet of the Day-Z character is really bad. I feel that there should be more food options available to players of Day-Z, to allow for a more realistic zombie post-apocalyptic experience. Here are some of my suggestions:1. Milk. You should be able to find a milking apparatus (rare spawn, farms) which will allow you to milk cows, goats and rabbits. You need an empty canteen to do this, and each drink of milk will restore 200 blood, strengthen bones and remove thirst.2. Butter. Also at farm spawns, you should be able to find a churner. With milk, you can churn that milk into butter and improve the nutri=tion of your character (Atkin's). 3. Honey. It has been proven that antibiotics are bad cures for various infections of the humours. With a beekeeping suit and hives, maybe you can harvest the sweet honey to stop your character coughing. Also, diluting honey with water will make it more potent. Thanks you and God bless

Zeppa 562 Posted September 3, 2012 (edited) Point you lost my vote "homeopathy" and then rest of this is just regular magic from some hippies. How does milking cows, eating old butter and harvesting bees make this more realistic zombie apocallypse?? lol.Last things that I would do when shit goes down.. I think there is already game for this... wait... FarmVille! Edited September 3, 2012 by Zeppa

Gopher (DayZ) 5 Posted September 3, 2012 (edited) I certainly agree, I am a long survivor of the apocalypse of Chernarus. I have been only eating beans, pasta, sardines, and the occasional steak. I've also been drinking coke, pepsi, and water. The income of emergency food has been declined greatly and for the past year I have gained alot of weight and my diet has been terrible. I would wish for the good old dayz where I would be able to sit at a table and drink some fresh milk, eat lasagna that my mother used to make, and have some nice cheesecake to add along with it. I would also die for some vegetables because I haven't eaten any of those since before the apocalypse. I wonder where all the food has went. I really don't want to eat beans, pasta, and sardines for the rest of my life in this apocalypse. If you have any contact with the IEFCPA (International Emergency Food Care Package Association) please radio a care package to the supermarket and Chernogorsk ASAP. I've also heard that my cousin in Lingor Island has had this problem too with beans, pasta, sardines and steak. If you are able to, please send a care package for food delivery in Calamar as soon as possible. You have my deepest thanks.-Survivor of Chernarus Edited September 3, 2012 by Gopher
Bribase 251 Posted September 3, 2012 (edited) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swDpWNKB5CoYour 18th century pseudoscience is as relevant in hypothetical post apocalyptic Chernarus as it is today. Not in the slightest. Edited September 3, 2012 by Bribase
