Question about Fraps

Recommended Posts

Im having severe issues with Bandicam recording anything over 20 minutes and am looking into Fraps. Could someone tell me what the size of a 30 fraps video would be?

Im also using VideoPad editor, would that be suffice to use with Fraps in compressing the files?

Thanks.

Fraps is notorious for it's large file size, it would probably depend a lot on the recording settings used, 20GB+?

I use VirtualDub or HandBrake to compress gameplay footage usually.

Fraps filesizes are huge, the best solution i've come up with is to record and then open and save the video file in windows movie maker. =/

The six minutes in my sig weigh in at 731 mo.

I do not remember the original Fraps file size (HQ / 30 fps) but something very, very large maybe 2 giga+ before editing.

I use WMM to compress and edit.

If you have the HD space this is not a problem, Youtube has limits, that is why I use Daily Motion to upload.
