Slide885 59 Posted August 31, 2012 Is it just me or has there been an admin crack down on out of control threads lately? I'm not trying to stir anything up but am curious about what brought all this on. Are we tired of the hate threads and the flaming? or is there some other guidlines to the many locked threads i've seen recently.This might be just my perception, and I will admit to flaming before. However as a member of the comunity i wouldn't want to see ever negitive coment about DayZ become locked. Thats half the point of the forums imo. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The game has nose dived into a gigantic hacking spree of late with multiple releases of public BI by passers, so it gets talked about here. I was really hoping to get the attention of a forum admin/moderator to provide a bit more insight. Maybe its just my perception that more topics are being locked. To contribute, you need to bring something new to the table, something that involves others in the community. Not just I was teleported, I was killed, I lost my rifle... That gets tedious when you have read it the n'th time, it might make you think that you should add your tale of woe as well. Well, you shouldn't.It is no secret that the mod is under attack from scripters, it is no secret that there are bugs. Everybody knows it, nobody is special.In the end, it's a game. Would you agree over zealous fanboy retorts are also tedious to read and are often nothing more then redundant babble? Both sides of the fence to me seem to water down the community. Really at this junction I wouldn't just lock the threads, Id make a sticky about posting the aforementioned topics; informing people they will be deleted, and that you will be issuing warnings to ANYONE who responds to them. Because as it stands now, someone complains, they get their asses jumped by fanboys that take turns spewing the same cliche shit, which in turn is no different then the bullshit complaining post to begin with.
