What happened: I lost all my gear for spawning in the water, i had a m4a1cco

Where you were: Church of elektro

What you were doing: standing and logging out.

*Timeline of events before/after error: Got the ghille suit. put it on, took it off logged out, logged back in different server because US68 was lagging spawn in water.

Maybe a character reset to 5.05pm UK time?

Date/Time: Around 10:15 gmt-7 11 june 2012 when I first spawned into the water, I logged out around 2am last night, give or take a few minutes.

What happened: I lost all my gear for spawning in the water, i had a m4a1cco (Funny how I had the exact same weapon as the guy above me). Just logged on now and found myself in the water, along with like 5 other players.

Where you were: Firestation in Cherno, ocean in the middle of nowhere when I spawned

What you were doing: Crouching and logged out (Yesterday) and I was swimming in the ocean when I logged on

Player profile # is 15721862 if that's important at all.

There seem to be people who get their location reset when putting on new clothes.

However, characters are not reset to whatever time you please, several weeks ago it was announced that character resets will be done less and less. And they should, it is an alpha so expect these things to happen. Staff is not wasting their time with individual issues, as that is out of the scope of the current development phase. And even if it is going to happen, don't expect to be reset to a specific time or anything.

I'm just a forum observer, but I have been aware of this bug for literally WEEKS. How could you not?

Also, as stated above, stop asking for stuff. If you lost your stuff start over like the rest of us. The are 1000 threads about the skin switching bug.

What happened:put on camo, played for a hour or so, logged off on a pier, logged back on and i was in the middle of the ocean, its that way for every server now. lost my rifle and ammo. :(

Either way, there should be no time whatsoever spent on validating or resetting characters or items.

That is simply an absurd use of *free* manpower. It would be only slightly less absurd if we were paying for a product that has actually been released in it's "final" form.

Do not spend time on individuals wanting resets. Spend time on the tens of thousands of people wanting work done on Dayz, Alpha.

What happened: Logged in using six launcher, ended up at sea with no land in sight. No doubt losing equipment.

They can't actually reset any of your characters, you know. Well, it is theoretically possible, but it would require rolling back some 200,000 characters simultaneously, many of which have died ten, twenty, thirty times in the past twenty-four hours. It would be a massive clusterfuck.

found camo the day before and Im pretty sure it was that that did it.

What happened: I logged off and joined UK FUn House to meet a mate. When I joined, I was in the proper location (Where I logged off previous) but I literally have a blank inventory...

Timeline of events before/after error: Literally joined to meet my mate, logged in to find my character in his ghillie with nothing (Totally blank inventory) It wouldn't really bother me - however i had an as50, bizon sd, m9 silenced, ghillie suit, nvg's, rangefinders, alice pack and loads of toolbelt inventory (I had 2 spaces missing).. Plus being alive for 6+ days.

Is there anything that can be done to retrieve my stuff?
