I dont know what causing this, but it had happen 3 times this month already.

Everytime it happen I got all the goodies from friends (Gps, Range Finder, you name it I got it)

I can say that this really really pisses me off and Im off this game.

I have always been legit player (never pick up hack in stuff, always helping people, 20k humanity)

and this how the game reward me.

Well I've lost so many nice weapons and great gear to bugs, glitches, hacks and I actually enjoy starting new. There are many ways around spending days gathering great gear. You can join a server with a ton of players and go to Elektro to find a bunch of dead bodies with every tool, great weapons, and all the loot you'd need. With that it makes it so if you lose it, not as bad. Also by dying you become better at gathering, dodging zombies, and being stealthy around other players. I understand getting mad about it after the fact, or if it's happened many times. The devs are doing what they can, and I trust them to get things right and do it a decent pace.

I understand your frustration, happened to me too 4 times during the last week and at one time I had a full awesome gear but then, I can't complain, its an alpha, there are stupid ass hackers out there only after to cause problems for players. Can't understand the fun of it though, they are totally retards. Even though I get back on my horse and continue. Seems this problem gets more common for every day though.

I do know that there are certain servers that doesn't load your saved equipment into the game. Servers like GB #500 and Dayz Chernarus are notorious for these kind of glitches...

It happened to me twice in the past week, both times it said I died the instant I logged in and spawned me with absolutely nothing off map. Both times it happened I was wearing a skin (ghillie suit and camo) which was the only thing I still had upon spawning. Its only happened since downloading the latest Dayz patch and the second time it happened I has joined a server with 0 other players so it wasn't a hacker. Gearing up is easy so its not too bad but I might just stay around the coast for a while until its fixed.

Has it happened to anyone who wasn't wearing Ghillie or Camo gear at the time?

I needed to add to this thread, because It just happened to me again.

A couple of days ago I had a pretty good loadout ( nothing special, but what I'm happy with say Coyote backpack / matches / gps / AK Kobra / G17 etc...)

Saved some other good stuff In a tent (Way up north) and crossed my fingers it would remember I put it in...

And respawned at the coast. (With all my gear whew!)

After 2 days of making my way back diagonally across the whole map again, I realize my tent's on the other server that I play on.

No problem, I'll just re-log.

This is caused by alt+f4'ing or otherwise closing the game during the loading phase. It corrupts your location, which makes the game think your in the de-bug plains, which makes it re-spawn you on the coast.

If you want to avoid this, don't close the game while it's loading. If your stuck on loading, open another instance of DayZ and let that one load up. Once your in-game, you can close the other window.

DO some deep breathing exercises in the lobby before mashing "ENTER" (<--- THAT one was probably my biggest error, some servers are slower than others...)

Yeah, also I find some server seem to have a tendency to do it more, so dont return to that server if your having problems with it.
