spawning close to other players

Recommended Posts

I've died many times after spawning close to other players, never logged. But i don't think it's fair as i never felt to have any chance to survive. Yesterday it happened again, spawned and was taking fire of at least two different guns. I ran away and after one or two hundred meters, no shots heard anymore, i logged out. I'm sure it was legit, what do you think ?

I would have thought it was pretty much impossible. But on one occasion I logged in 2 metres away from someone. They seen me before I finished loading and started talking to me. Turned out to be the only friendly player Ive ever met in this game. It would suck though, there should be a minimum range you can log into an area with other people there. Not to mention CHerno+ map could end up with 200 players at one time.

Stop logging in and out of sniping spots or open areas then you clam.

Browsing /vg/ I saw someone post a server map of one of the big 100 player maps.

32 people in Cherno, 22 in Elektro, about 6 surrounding Stary, around 13 at NWAF, some of the others just going between those places and a ridiculous amount of people running along the borders.

He is NOT a clam! He's an oyster.

This happened a bit when I first started playing DayZ. Sometimes they'd have no weapon like me though.

It hasn't happened in a long time now. Maybe even longer than a month but it depends on how close exactly, since I could spawn on the shore of Cherno or Elektro and it's bound to happen!
