My thoughts on every server becoming Cherno and Elektro DM

Vehicles vehicles vehicles, I'm tired of running north only to find one person in stary and maybe only a few people at the NW airfield, players are too clumped up down south in Elektro, why? Because the lack of vehicles, I'm not saying that urals and UAZ's should be spawning everywhere but more vehicles in general add to the excitement of the game and up the pace of things. When I was in a private hive server with 80 vehicles and only 25 people in the server there were people everywhere. Stary, zelenogorsk, NW airfield, not always people with vehicles but you could tell that people wanted to be in those areas. The server had 3 helicopters versus the standard 1, it wasn't uncommon to see helicopters circiling camps and nothing but gunshots ringing out trying to take them down. This really took the population out of the southern towns and made up north hectic.

Now every other server is so shy to have vehicles around the map (mostly due to hoarding) which really hinders the spread of people on the map. not that I'm opposed to people having 5 car garages in the middle of the woods, but seriously, if people can get anywhere on the map faster do you think they would really just camp Cherno?

TLDR; private hives with more vehicles and less players > Hives with more players and less vehicles

But its true, I used to hunt at the NW airfield only. Now it seems like no one even bothers.

Rocket already confirmed that the vehicle count will be raised significantly but it isn't priority #1. In exchange jerry cans and gas stations will be more limited.

And yes, private servers with more vehicles have way more players in northern towns. One of the many pros of private servers.

I don't mind not having vehicles around. I frequent the northern towns, and travel to each on foot.

It's nice being stealthy rather than drawing a ton of attention with a car or helicopter. I even have a bunch of routes made up throughout the forests and hills in the north. :)

I honestly haven't even been to Cherno or Elektro since I used to spawn with a Makarov.

Some server's set the vehicles to re-spawn upon server restart. Other's don't Honestly it's a coin toss, I am one of those vehicle hoarder's you were talking about lol, But my group play's on a low pop server, I do have to say I have ran from Elektro to NW Airfield more than a few time's. As a Matter of fact I wont take the helicopter out unless my full group is on. Lol.

Yeah, I've noticed that people will stay along the shore just because they don't want to walk. I do agree that raising the vehicle count would promote more travel up north.

I tough that everybody is on the coast because there is no need to go north. You can get m4sd, as50, nvg, rf, coyote backpack, glock, all that good stuff from the bandits in elektro. And when they die, they just run to they dupecamp and regear, come back to elektro and die.

The only reason I dont go north anymore is because I am the victim of servers being hacked daily. No reason to grind gear to die by that bs when I can just do a little cherno deathmatch.

being forced to walk, or to rely on your team to have transport arranged when you need it does add a lot to the game... traversing the highlands on foot still is a thrill to me, because you never know when you gonna meet that other guy currently running to Vybor/NWAF/Sobor.. if vehicles were overabundant, the map would suddenly become much smaller.. i love me bicycles though, fast, silent and basically indestructible, the most OP vehicle in the game :)

The last time I went to electro or cherno was my first day playing. There's no reason to go there once your geared up and there's plenty of gear north.
