Give Current Dayz Players Free Game Keys On Release

I read on a news post how dayz is going to be developed as a full standalone game. and i know i speak for a few people when i say the ONLY ! reason i purchased ARMA was because of this mod and i would feel taken advantage if later down the road i had to PAY to repurchase a game that i had been playing right along. i think it is only fair that players who purchesed ARMA just for this mod should be given keys when the full version comes out because lets face it were never going to play arma as is :/

well I agree with you completely but I do actually use Arma 2 but really the game isn't that good and no one would of gotten there game this much if it wasn't for the dayz mod so really it isn't there game that is good it was dayz... and lets face it dayz isn't even all that good with all the glitches and scripters and bs that constantly that go's on. I mean come on more content and take care of these stupid scripters. Honestly I gave up personally on trying to really be serious about this game anymore I just throw tourches and screw around killing zombies till a bandit kills me and Honestly when I die I don't even care... it's gotten like that for me.

DayZ doesnt do ArmA2 justice..

Try:

- ACE Warfare

- ACE + ACRE domination

Or just normal warfare/domi for that matter.

Edit: Oh and yeah.. FUCK YOU.. ArmA2 is a good game, way better than BF3 and COD...Well, atleast COD.. Why do you think we dont want cod kids getting ArmA2?

You need to understand that COD is a "lets stand on top of eachother basicly and shoot eachother" while ArmA2 is a military simulation game.

Edit: Stop being so tight, Rocket has said that buying Arma 2:Combined Operations AND the DayZ standalone will cost you less than buying Skyrim. Also, you should have no problem giving BIS some more monies, god knows they bloody well deserve it.

Exactly. While all this "hacking" shit is going on my clan is making custom missions for us to practise on. Unbelievably fun and really good practise at getting team work/communications down to a art. And ACE is one of the coolest mods I have played for Arma 2. I hope they implement something similar (at least for sniping) in the stand alone. I would quite happily pay 100 of my Kiwi dollars (about $3.40 U.S) for the stand alone. It's not about where the mod is right now, it's about where it has the potential to go.

- Deploy bipod
