Just fix the damn arfitacting/tearing, please

I'm well aware this is alpha and a free mod but for the love of god, please fix this issue!

I don't understand why it is even still around, it is being caused by props, props that have absolutely no affect on how the game plays at all.

Because of this bug, I cannot visit the 4 of the most important places on the map.

The NWAF,Stary Sobor,Chernogorsk and Berezino.

I'm well aware that it can be a bit of a mess around to release patches and such but this is getting ridiculous.

Why can't they just be removed? Surely you can remove them but at the same time, try and solve the issue on test servers?

It is getting to the point where it's almost pointless in me playing, especially considering I am the designated sniper and can't zoom into the dangerous zones we frequent.

Please fix this guys, I've been playing since 1.4 and am still enjoying this game immensely but this is really destroying the experience.

It depends on the server for me.

On one server (where I have a motorcycle), the places you name are unapproachable.

On another server I was just on, no problems at all....

It's definately not server dependant for me, I went to the NWAF the other day and had no trouble at all and then travelled to Stary afterwards and couldn't see a damn thing towards the tents.

Today I couldn't see anything at both places, the other day I had no issues at all.

So damn annoying!

now i've done the fix. finally.

shift and - type flush.. i dont know but this works everytime

the - needs to be from the numpad, doesn't work if you press the other one.

also, switching video memory to default has helped me when flushing doesn't.

Cool suggestion dude. I bet no ones ever thought of that before.

Actually the artifacts are a great place to hide. Keep them to your back and no other player can see you when they look your way.

http://www.reddit.com/r/dayz/comments/yhksh/successful_graphics_glitch_fix_for_nvidia_gpu/ Theres been a fix for a long time now, thats IF you have a NVIDIA card. Its a 3D setting you need to deactivate, its been fixed for me since I changed my setting/3D thing in 3D manager.

Thats not a fix, its a workaround. There's a difference.

When I load my game when I'm in those city's it doesn't show those artifacts. If I load my game when those city's aren't visible I get them when I look at them.

The Reddit fix works. If you follow everything it says then artefacts will be a thing of the past and you can go about your urban shenanigans once more.

*Don't forget to change Memory to Default in advanced video settings in game.

I've tried that, I've tried everything.

My friend came up with a server side script but he reckons it'll clash with battleye
