I think current dayZ users should maybe get a discount(or at least something in game)

So before I begin I don't mean WE SHOULD GET THE COMPLETED VERSION FREE CUS WE DOWNLOADED ALPHA FOR FREE. I just think for helping in the alpha maybe just a 5$ discount or something(I believe rocket said price range PROBOLY won't be above 15$) or maybe something like an ingame skin. Just to show you helped in alpha.

So ya those are my thoughts what are yours about being in alpha and moving to full?

Well sence the mod right now, is free, and he stated that the mod will run side by side with the standalone, so the mod and standalone will run on the same servers and everything, so already haveing the mod you have the game for free, and hes not makeing any money from mod players (unless you donate or something) and people who buy the stand alone help fund the alpha. so if you want to help out, then buy the standalone, if you want to play it for free? then stay on the mod.

uh, not quite. They won't run on the same servers. Also the mod is severely limited in what it can achieve, hence the stand alone. The mod will basically be used for further experimentation/idea pool once the standalone comes out.

He has said it will be a minecraft market model. Meaning early Alpha builds of the standalone will be dirt cheap for any who show up early, then upon full release the game will cost more. Which I think is a fair compromise and I'm okay with it.

Discount on what will already be an unbelievably awesome/cheap game, HELL NO. I like the skin and zombie face idea though. Many games give players a tiny reward for alpha testing.
