Do know that kicking people for any reason other than racial/homophobe slurs and hacking (with concrete proof) is against the rules. No matter if you own the server yourself, or rent a 500$ per month hardware.

the server is in NY and yeah I know people love to be assholes we don't kick or ban anyone just saying we've got a friendly bunch of people who will help you if you need it. and the server is part of the hive.

If you're already playing on recruit servers, that's probably part of the reason you're constantly being killed. It should be much easier for others to spot you on a recruit server (or you them). Nametags are most likely turned on for one thing. It will not only give your name, but your range. Its like walking around holding a big sign over your head saying "I'm over here! Shoot me! Shoot me!"

You might be better off playing on at least a regular server or, even better, a veteran server. Veteran servers should have nametags turned off. Maybe play on lower populated servers till you're more comfortable with the game, too.
