Tents & Saving

So I found a massive cache of tents, full of weapons. Doesn't seem to be hacked. I've been stealing from it for a while and transferring it to my own tents a few kms away. I've been saving my own tents, but not their tents. Whenever I come back on the next day, everything that was in their tents is back again. Is that because I didn't save their tents? I don't mind, since the guys I am stealing from have no idea and I have a heap of stuff.

Is this the duping bug?

1.7.2.5 doesn't save tents or vehicles right, so everything goes back at reset (though for tents this predates 1.7.2.5)

And yes. it's one of them.

So my tents, even though I saved, will be empty when I log in now? damn. All that running last night for nothing. At least the other tents will still be full.

Been seeing that bug for a long time. Either that or we had it, went away and is back.

Make sure when you place a tent you wait for a server restart. THEN save and put items in.

Works better that way.

As far as I can tell, tents are not saving at all. Whatever the tent had in it when the server updated to 1.7.2.5 is what it will always have in it after a server restart. Just have to wait for it to be fixed I guess.

I found where a motorcycle was on a server, and it keeps coming back to that spot.

This bug sorta "ruins" vehicles in the game.

I'm really looking forward to being able to save vehicles where I want them again.
