Weird bugs - my skin changes and my backpacks reversed.

Some weird skin changes that have been happening lately? It seems to get more frequent on my as i just usally run and then all the sudden i stop and it goes into first person mode and when i change to thirdperson it's another skin. I recently got myself a coyote backpack when it seems like it reverted back to alice pack i had before.

Texture artifacts in some cities spazzing or like a grey wall.

2x evga 460 soc

i7 950 3.4

6gb

I play the game on full/high or what it's called but now i only try to play low to keep the walls smaller and less abundant.

Any answer or fixes please!

Yes I had this issue occur on a private hive server. Picked up a czech backpack, loaded it up with some stuff, then about 15mins later I was teleported back slightly and everything in my backpack turned into the coyote that I had minutes ago

Hmm, sounds something like me but i play on public servers, DayZ - LU servers.

I've had similar issues where I'd get gear on a server, hop onto another and it'd all be the same stuff as I had X amount of time before.

It sounds like a de-syncing issue. Don't quote me on that though.

haha, that's atleast nice if not of course it reverted without tires and fuel :S

No need for screenshots, EVERYONE is experiencing this issue.

For example if u put on a ghillie and put it off again, your humanity will be 0 and you have the bandit skin.

Run around for ~5 mins and you will change to the normal civillian skin AND in addition lose your backpack.

Same happens when you respawn, humanity 0 = bandit skin... 5 min skin change -> alice pack you just found goes POOF.

3 day ago I started to spawn, after i died, with 0 or less humanity and bandit skin (no bacpack visible but still there). After a wile, just running and loot, my humanity restart to increase, my skin change back to normal (first person glitch ecc) and my backpack revert to coyote patrol, even if I found another one, and all my stuff in backpack are gone. That happends to me every time (tried differents servers, uninstall and reinstall the game, nothing). Every time that I died now, I have to run around for like 10-15 min for thing to get normal again, plus I can't use the backpack and with a bandit skin I get shot a lot; this is really frustrating!!!!!!! anyone now if it is just a bug?, can we do something? should i just suck it up? thx

Saw the video I had the same problem.

I maybe find a fix, it worked for me.

Using dayz commander I just rolled back to dayz 1.7.2.4 i joined a server, no luck, and after I reinstalled 1.7.2.5. I respawn as a bandit, but after a wile i regan humanity in a normal way, no more skin change-loose backpack bug (when you regan your humanity your skin change but not in the bug way with the backpack reset). I died several times and my humanity is back to normal, it's always the same from when i died. If that doesent work I did too an update with play withSix, just for try if this app work better now, so I'am not sure which one did the bug fix. ( I'm using arma2 with STEAM). I hope that's a real fix and not just my luck. :rolleyes:
