More competition for the stand alone?

Heheh. It does seen coincidental, huh? But the lack of multiplayer makes it a totally different game. I like the look of this though!

i thought the game looked a little unpolished, slightly ugly and a seemingly old engine. maybe theyre going for a walking dead feel?

That's not a multiplayer game. Also it's being developed for the Xbox. lot's of new sandbox zombie games will be released over the next couple of years, it's to be expected.

Looks a helluva lot more valid and real than WarZ does currently. Plus, I'll put a bit more faith in Microsoft Studios than the no names doing WarZ. One to keep an eye on.

Seems even worse than all the other zombie copies out there lol.

Its going to take a crafty, rich company (blizzard?) 3 or more years,counting from now, to make a better game in the same style of day z. Ofc it wont be about zombies, but it will be a realistic physics simulator engine "like arma", combined with permadeath, pvp and a huuuuge world. Its gonna be the future. World of starcraft in that style? May sound stupid, but remember where you heard it first people ;)

I love dayZ because of the location of the map and the dark spooky forest. So far is looking way better than WarZ.

Everyone can produce better cosmetic features... immersion on the other hand is really hard to achieve. DayZ has nailed it and i would like to think that in the standalone will exceed our standards... by far

War Z is not even gonna be the title for Bohemia's game. Its not even related. What happened is everyone saw Day Z's success and is scrambling to make a game in hopes of having the same success.
