I think its interesting to see the meta game change all the time. How is DayZ gonn alook in 2 months? What is gonna be the thing to do or place to be then? :) WHo knows. Oh, and i think alot of people is gonna protest when you say that sniping is the correct way to play the game, hehe. My personal opinion is that you can play the game in any way possible without cheating, and that totally fine!! Dont get mad bro's.

Last three or so weeks the game has changed kind of much. More and more people stay in cherno and electro nowadays. Its the new end game, hehe. Its not only noobs there anymore. 95% of the population is there id say. The few times last weeks id actuallt went to stary and NW airfield, its been deader than dead, even on high pop servers. Like it or not, thats the way it is right now in the meta game.

Hmm, HE didnt think he ruined someone else's gaming experience. The problem is that the OP maybe wrong thinking that. If you think hard and long about the things you did, im sure you altered it for alot of players without even knowing it. But he dont seem to be a person who thinks about stuff for too long haha ;D I think a more simple game would be better for him, since he didnt take the time needed to understand all the glory that is Dayz even now in alpha. I know there is a risk that OP is a troll, and havnt been banned at all, but i still had to get that said :) Pretty good troll if thats the case btw ;)

Seems even worse than all the other zombie copies out there lol. Its going to take a crafty, rich company (blizzard?) 3 or more years,counting from now, to make a better game in the same style of day z. Ofc it wont be about zombies, but it will be a realistic physics simulator engine "like arma", combined with permadeath, pvp and a huuuuge world. Its gonna be the future. World of starcraft in that style? May sound stupid, but remember where you heard it first people ;)

If the sniper sinks a bit lower, and server hops after a few shots, even then it can be dangerous, cause those spots are often under surveillance, and it can get you killed even before you spwan in 100% :P

All the people saying sniping isnt dangerous have obv never tried it, haha. I stopped doing it, cause i got tired of dieing all the time :P I know i suck at sniping, but still, you never do it unless youre ready to die. Its 10000000000 times riskier to snipe than to run through cherno deathmatching. And no, im not saying the people youre trying to snipe is gonna kill you, but all the people coming for you up there once you fired your gun once or twice. The five most common places to snipe around cherno is very well known, so even if youre relocating to another "good" spot, youre gonna get tracked down within 5 minutes by at least 2-10 people.

Hehe. I think i realised what this experiment rocket is talking about really is all about. Its not a test to see what people would do in a zombie apocalypse. Its what the internet trolls would do in a simulated zombie apocalypse ;D Some are gonna play fair, and some are gonna hack. Some are gonna snipe noobs and some are gonna break peoples legs for fun. And theyre ALL gonna whine on the forums for all eternity :) I think rocket is a troll who feeds of nerds tears.

I played a server last night with side chat on, and it can be a bit interesting sometimes. Cant remember the name of the server though :( Its hard to find those ones nowadays, so maybe it would be good with a little list with servers that have it enabled. I think the one i was on was a UK one, but not sure. Need help finding them :D

I prefer the m107 over the as50 because of the sound :) Puts the fear of god into people! I know its worse, but i still love it. And ofc the zoom is a lil bit better. The m16 acog is my fav AR cause of the ease of taking out zombies at around 80-200 meters without them coming after me. Its hard to choose between m16 acog and m4 cco sd for fav AR, but my heart says acog! Fav sidearm is pdw cause all sidearms are crap now, and this has the biggest clip, so then i can have almost all ammo slots for bandage (and maybe 2 pdw clips that i try to never use), so i dont have to waste extra space in my inv or packs for bandage.

This happened to me when i was at 2.4 and downgraded some files to 2.3 to get rid of glitches gfx bug. Since 2,5 its fixed for me.

You can look in the inventory at the mags. They have a green line that shows how full it is. Its a bit hard to see though, and its not numbers :/

I think he is just asking where the most common places are, and not where YOUR camp is :P The most common places are the big forest going from zelenegorsk and up north from there along the edge of the wilderness debug forest. It used to be way out in the debug forest, but since vehicles despawn there now i think more people place them inside the map.

Thats weird. Always when i find 107-ammo they looks like 10 loose bullets. Like enfield ammo, but the bullets are a little bit bigger. Edit: Now i see what you did wrong. The bag in your pic is the smoke grenade :P If you look close you see bullets there also (thats the ammo, not the bag). The thing you think is the grenade is a tin can, hehe.

My little sister played with my little ponys back inthe late 80's or early 90's, so i never did watch the show. I do however like the pokemon anime series. Does that make me more or less manly?

Erhm, so you can get banned for changing fov now too? Thats good to know for a lot of people i assume :)
