cocomut 1 Posted August 21, 2012 So, my friend says now when you reconnect you pass out for 5 minutes. Is this true? If so, that'd be pretty nice. So many people who reconnect in PVP... Professional N00b 347 Posted August 21, 2012 (edited) When you take any type of damage, be it zombies or a player (or the landscape on occassion) you'll go into "Shock". This means that if you log out while that effect is on you (it goes away after a few minutes) then you'll be passed out for five minutes when you log back in.Sadly, it doesn't really keep people from disconnecting in a fight as they just get a friend to come give them an epi-pen and bandage them up and they're all set to alt+f4 all over again. Seems to encourage server hoppers now D:The "shock" effect carried across servers so it doesn't matter which one you join, you'll still get knocked out for five minutes.Though there is a bug where some people have found themselves unconcious for no apparent reason, though haven't had it happen to myself so not sure what causes it. Ajvkorn 72 Posted August 21, 2012 I don't think it's 5 minutes, but 3 minutes. If it is 5 minutes, it sure as heck doesn't seem that long, lol. Either way what the people above are saying is true. If you log out in shock, you will be unconscious when you log back in. HOWEVER, there are times where you won't be in shock, but it will still happen.
