Inception.

This is where it began.

Recommended Posts

I had everything. Coyote backpack, L85A2, M24, vehicles, NVGs, Rangefinder...everything. So did my group.

I was riding on my motorcycle [amazing vehicle, really], picking up a friend and taking new spawns to where they want to go on the coast.

Until I was insta-killed.

I went back to my body five minutes later and everything was looted. I was really dissapointed.

And then the server was shutdown due to hackers.

Upon the server coming back up...all of our vehicles were gone. All of our high-end, high value vehicles were gone. We have nothing. One of my group members, DesolateChris, has his stuff still. SVD Camo and M4A3 CCO [i think, might be a different variation]. ATLAAS and myself have nothing. So we decided to head to Cherno and Elektro and gear up like the good old times; gear up how gear should be acquired.

ATLAAS helped players and killed murderers. I did the same.

We went on ANZ 1/2/3 servers--the max pop servers to do all of this. It was a shittload of fun.

Him and myself grouped up near the apartments in Cherno and looted them. A sniper was sitting ontop of the high place sniping him. ATLAAS died, unfortunately, but I did not. I avenged my friends's death and killed his killer. Acquired a DMR and some food, etc. Although, the DMR has no ammo, but that's fine.

It's time to group up with the rest of my group and do what we haven't done in a long time.

This is where the fun is.

hackers will most likely invade high ranked servers on the gametracker server list. or high pop servers.

There's a STICKY thread for people to tell stories ._.

good read tho :3

This isn't particularly that much of a story, hence the title. THAT's the main objective.

People always talk about the lack of endgame and I personally think that it's about going back where it began, taking risks and dying so you can start over. The more you love your gear the less risks you take and it gets stale.

I've managed to get myself some great gear. AS-50, DMR, M4A1 CCO SD, M107, ecetera, but I still like to shove it all in the tent and just go roll along the coast with a Winchester and a Revolver like John Marston.
