Where does one find dogs?

Okay, it's clear that they are in the game now. Anybody know where I can find one? Do they spawn in the forest, or at random? Because I was running for a while from Green Mountain to Balota, and I didn't see any. Any tips on where to find them/if they are only on that one server/how to get it to follow you would be appreciated.

Any you find now are from hackers either turning themselves or other players into dogs.

you can find them... in the garbage, because they are a trashy concept

because this game isnt about staying concealed and hidden, its about having a pet run around with you, a wild dog, a feral animal, that suddenly decides to do your bidding because you clicked on it

since pets were a primary concern last patch, im sure raids are inc, Medic LFG for Zombie Cavern

You can actually script in dogs since forever, but it's screaming ban me, ban me.

Dogs will have practical uses like finding animals and possibly players. Its not going to like you because you clicked on it i'm sure you will need at least some raw meat to get it to be your pal and for players who play solo it might be a fun companion.

go outside, into the woods (assuming you live in a suburban area) and find yourself a pack of feral dogs, toss them as much meat as you want, they will never suddenly befriend you, much less TRACK anything for you

im from alabama, and anyone who went up to a pack of wild dogs in the woods, with some meat, attempting to befriend them, would be in for a surprise. hint, he wouldnt come back out of the woods with a pack of friendly animals

I think this is a valid topic that should be allowed to go on and on. After all, it's something that was said to be in patches ago.

And to the idiot going on about feral/wild dogs, stfu about them. Maybe, just maybe you complete tool, the dogs were tame before their masters turned into fcking zombies. After all, you don't see too many 'wild' german shepherds roaming the wilderness. Throw a hungry tame/lonely dog a bone and I'm sure he'll be over you like your mother on the local football team.
