I havent played it (so crazy busy right now with all the wrong things), but I really want too. it looks fantastic. Something we will grow support for more with the mod over the coming weeks I think.

I don't know about your thread, but believe it or not, we have channels. If it is communicated to us to stop moving linger island threads to off topic, then we will stop.

I still think Lingor belongs in OT, Rocket is also okay with WarZ and Ponies, still it doesn't making it part of the official mod.

Lingor island is pretty cool, but it would be better if rocket could be bothered to port it to other maps.

In all honesty it would take him only a few hours.

Lingor's pretty fun... not quite the same "survival" feel as chernarus though

i have played only lingor for about 3 weeks now, and havent really bothered going back to chernarus. by comparison now, the massive amount of unenterable buildings would make me rage. in lingor, you can go in 99% of buildings.

In the nicest way i utterly disagree with you. :)

Lingor, for me has a far more survial feel as any village you enter could have a bandit hiding in almost any of the buildings. Whereas in chernarus, if you can see down a street that it looks clear, then it usually is.

With the multiple sight lines from every building available in lingor, entering built up areas is far more of a tense experience for me.

Try it yourself.

It feels like power tripping. At least in my case. I made a thread...it got merged...fine...but it was merged into "Off Topic" and the forum moderator that moved it left a nice little nasty comment about not doing a search beforehand and threatening warnings in the future.

Well...first off...Off Topic? Really? Still talking about DayZ here...it is very much ON topic. Secondly. Assuming I didn't try using the search feature before making a post is asinine. I did search. I got a crap load of threads that had nothing to do with with the search word I used of "Lingor". Finally...threatening warnings for making a new thread?
