I'd like to see NVGs spawning on rare occasions at the fire station, on occasion at the military camps, quite often at the barracks'. dallas 5195 Posted August 16, 2012 (edited) Atm my team is using spare nvgs as hammers and toilet paper or trying to sell them off as digital cameras to the tourists.take a stroll along the northern boarder and you come across camps full of them. Shaimou 49 Posted August 16, 2012 No, they should not. The game becomes very boring as soon as you find an NVG and runloot every town at night. The item inflation will add to the amount of NVGs too. Night servers are good for looting since zombies cant see you and there are not many players, but at the expense of darkness and the need to use chemlights/flashlights. Then again with the amount of duping going on its hard to tell how rare they actually are when you can find them in every camp you find.Earlier on people actually played at night and used flares and chemlights to get around. It was a lot of fun slinking into Cherno at night (with 20+ players in the server too) and sticking to the shadows and creeping up on areas lit up by flares. Or hiding in a building in the pitch black and all of a sudden having a flare light up. Now it just seems to be NVGs and AS50s.Flares + Makarovs/Lee Enfields/Winchesters was infinitely funner than all of the high tech military crap. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Womb Raider 92 Posted August 16, 2012 I love to play at night time, I've been playing since June and I only just got my first pair of NVG's last week, they are awesome, but they do ruin night time for me now.Back when I didn't have NVG's night time used to be scary and challenging to navigate as you'd have to throw flares everywhere or use a chemlight and hope you don't get spotted.Sadly the duping and people turning up their gamma has ruined it.
