I wanna stay alive this time

Recommended Posts

Usually when I play, I leave my valuables in my tent and pretty much sprint into stary/airfield with an ak to find loot

But I've decided to be more careful now and take my rare shit with me, hopefully making me be more careful

ATM I have NVG's, Svd camo, and a gillie

I want a coyote pack cus keeping my ak In my Alice pack is tough

So can anyone gimme ideas on how to stay alive?

Loot when the server doesn't have many people on it. Also, move slowly and watch to see if you spawned the zombies. If zombies are scattered around everywhere someone is already there, watch the zombie total/alive. Those are some tips. When I am looting by myself I sneak past the zombies, dont sprint and attract them because then you have to kill them and people will hear you shooting.

It really boils down to going slow, taking the long route to stay in cover, measure your opportunities in a pro/con sort of way, and play at night if you can since you have the gear for it.

Truth is, death is always one abrupt "you are dead" screen away at all times. Even the most careful survivor will get randomly killed either by bugs, hackers, or bandits.... Just stay low and make it as long as you can/have as much fun as you can...

I wouldn't take the stuff with me, unless I needed it.

I don't care how experienced I am, or how safe I feel with my squad.. anything can happen and when it does, you'll probably have your rare shit on you at the time.

Never mind stuff that kills you because you weren't paying enough attention or whatever, at any given moment you could be teleported to "Thunderdome" crawl too close to the wrong tree, or even just bump into a fellow squad mate at the wrong time and *crack* broken limbs..

Hell, you might get raped by the curse of "That Mountain".. you just never know man.

Play smart. Play safe. ;)

edit: Chuckles ninja posted as I was typing.. he said the same thing.

You still don't know how not to get shot in the face after you've aquired that stuff? Well, not beeing seen usually helps quite a lot, or shooting the other guy first.

I mean I know like to spend some time looking around before, but I was wondering if there's more lol

I've had an l85 a2 aws before and I really want one again to scan places before I enter tho

The thermal brick isn't always the best answer, I've seen countless people getting shot because they thought that their thermal uber gear will shield them from harm. Easiest thing to do is going in at night and throwing one or two flares in the middle of the runway. After that, sneak around the back of the hangars without getting harassed from Zs. Even most bandits will either go into cover or announce them by shooting the glow stick.

You are in a unpredictable atmosphere. This is like asking hackers to be legit.

There is no real advice to give here, but if you want some sort of Military aspect of it then here.

"Slow is smooth and smooth is fast"

-Before moving into a town, get somewhere you can view your target. Stake it out until you feel comfortable.

- Check every possible sniping position where you say, ( That's where I'd be ) before moving in.

- Once in town, make sure you are behind cover from any type of sniping position.

- When entering a building pie your corners. (hopefully you understand what I mean )

Get what you need and get out fast. The longer you are still, the bigger target you are.

It's not going to make you be careful, it's just gonna make you ragequit when you stub your toe on a door, which kills you, and after the 30 minute run to your body it disappears before you can loot it. Or the server restarts.

Honestly, I mostly go out with literally *nothing* except a hatchet and possibly a coyote pack. (The small one, not the biggest one)

I've managed to fill my entire inventory, plus found and filled an Alice pack, pretty much every time I went out.

It's simple to find a weapon, I usually don't even bother with a primary unless it's something *really* good.

Hatchet is awesome too because it can go to your toolbelt when you finally do find something worthwhile, not to mention the stealth aspect.. ;)
