How long do I have to wait for stuff in tents to stay there?!

I have had to walk a very long way to some guys campsite and back to my own 2 times for an FN FAL (and some extra random stuff) which won't stay in my tent.

I put the gun in my tent saved it three times and stayed in the game for quite a while after then logged off, the next morning I get on and find that the FN FAL Is gone nothing else has gone just that gun It's not survivors coming to take it because I doubt they would just take one gun and not the other stuff (A Rangefinder, NVG's, other guns ect)

How can I resolve this? is there a definite amount of time I have to stay on before everything gets saved?

Im pretty sure its a bug with the new patch, items in vehicles and tents dont save, so when the server restarts they dissappear.

It could be the hive not saving it, But I personally would leave the NVG's and such myself, and just take the gun. To be honest, once you've played enough, You stop caring about NVG's and the likes, as its not a big issue, even at night. I find it alot more amusing to play with flares anyways.

Currently tents only save once. Pitch a tent and put some items in before saving. After first save the items will stay in the tent. It's not possible to incremental save unfortunately. So you live forever with the items placed at first in the tent.

the devs quit working on this game so no more items will save has been a problem for along time now.

Nah, my tents aren't saving anything even once. Seems that tents placed pre-patch are also re-setting each server restart so that tent that you see the FN FAL in will have the gun that dissapeared from your tent still in it again.

My tents aren't even saving themeselves. I tried saving a new tent after putting some stuff in, come back to the server the next day (after multiple server restarts) and boom, no tent. Then I tried saving a new tent with nothing in it, come back a day later (after multiple server restarts), boom, no tent again. Am I doing something wrong?

Oh well guess I'll have to carry around aload more weapons and stuff for now. :/ *Why can't I hold all these guns.*
