Spawning on the beach

So all was well when finished playing on Friday, but since then I keep spawning on the beach everytime Ive logged in. What's worse is I'm finding it even harder to connect to servers even local UK based servers. I know the connection problem is nothing new but it feels like its got 100% worse.

Can anyone shed some light? With the spawning issue it seems if I stay on the same server I spawn where I last logged out, but when I go play tomorrow I will be at another random spawn point.

It's something to do with the Beta patch. If you get stuck on loading in a server and close/ALT+F4/ctrl+alt+delete your game, the next server you spawn into will make you be on the coast.

If you leave during loading you will spawn on beach

Most people get stuck on loading because they are joining a server running a different version

If you do get stuck on loading, alt tab, join another server that you know you can join, click no so you have two copies of the game open, once in game alt tab to the one stuck on loading and alt f4 it

Cheers guys! I'll give that a go tomorrow, I've got to be honest I rarely look at the version number. Some may call me a lazy console gamer and this is the only pc game I play so Its not something I'm used to.
