stefan.shenton@yahoo.com 1 Posted August 12, 2012 Well i bought ARMA II and operation arrowhead yesterday just so i can play this game with some of ma freinds and make more freinds but ive got this weird thing where i join a server and it freezes at the loading screen i was wondering if someone can go into teamveiwer with me and maybe fix it for me it would be a massive help or even if u can just tell me how i can fix it "SIMPLE WAY IM RUBBISH WITH COMPUTERS" also i tryed reinstalling Batlle Eye becouse i saw a vid telling me to do it but it allways says Mssing string and ye im using steam thanks ;) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

wooly-back-jack 294 Posted August 12, 2012 maybe your client is 1.7.2.4 and you are joining 1.7.2.5 servers (this is what happens, it lets you join and sticks on loading) either update to .2.5 or stick to .2.4 servers for now (alot of servers are still .2.4) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Fantus69 3 Posted August 12, 2012 If you have version 1.7.2.5 installed, but try to play on a 1.7.2.4 server, that's going to happen.Also installing the beta can be a bit of a bitch, you need to copy the .exe into the arma2 folder and set launch options in the game properties in steam.It's a pain but once it's done you'll be fine. I downloaded battleye client and server from here,latest version of mod from here,replaced be files (X:\Program Files (x86)\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\Expansion\BattlEye)replaced mod files (X:\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@DayZ\addons)and run the game. Now it works.I did it twice, because at the first time sixlauncher replaced mod files back to 1.2.7.4. Now I use dayzcommander and I'm able to play dayz.
