Can't believe people STILL coming on moaning about "having" to pay for Arma2:OA to play this mod. Just quickly: NO ONE forced you to spend that money. There were NO ADVERTS popping up saying "buy this to play that"...you heard about it word of mouth (or word of internetz, whatever), and CHOSE to spend your money to play an alpha. When I heard about this game, every internet site/blog/whatever clearly stated it was alpha...If you didn't understand what "alpha" meant, tough shit. You know how to install this? then you know how to use google. Stop being asshats. (Also, anyone bothered to play the game they ACTUALLY PAID for? i.e. ArmA? it's awesome, give it a shot)

I got this a few times also. (logged out in stary, logged in in ottmel...fffuuuuu...) You don't need a new game, this patch just screwed a few things up it seems. We need to wait for the next one... :(

In my last post, I was getting a lot of artifacts in military areas. kept on getting them (was playing on de1282) so I tried messing with graphics etc., just got worse. So I gave up, came back a few hours later, on same server...all artifacts cleared up. dead soldiers, barbed wire, all good. So no idea what's going on. Maybe server admin did some update? not sure. So that's another 2 cents from me...hope you guys get it all sorted on your games too. Good luck! :)

If you have version 1.7.2.5 installed, but try to play on a 1.7.2.4 server, that's going to happen. Also installing the beta can be a bit of a bitch, you need to copy the .exe into the arma2 folder and set launch options in the game properties in steam. It's a pain but once it's done you'll be fine.

Hah! ---anyway--- You might have some problems running the latest version with 6 launcher, as it hasn't been released on that yet. Still got the graphical glitches coming from dead soldiers. I never had them from barbed wire and that doesn't seem to have changed. No ammo issues. Seems to be harder to join a server, like it was back in the 1.6 days. Running 1.7.2.5 with beta 95883 Cheers, keep up the good work :thumbsup: :)
