How to install Dayz

So, i tried to install dayz, but cant get why it dont work. After 3 houers i decided to post here to get more information, because the other topics in forum or movies on youtube dont work, or i cant follow them. I bought the Arma 2 Combined Operations in a shop and nothing work. So pls explain me step by step what to install what to download with links.

Pls dont spamm thread. We need only help to play the funny game : D

After installing the game, Run both games separately for one time, then leave the game/s and try getting DayZ to work by using six updater from here...

Download the Dayz files from here > http://cdn.armafiles.info/latest/

Download the latest patch from here > http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php

Download this Dayz launcher from here > http://dayz.sykotix....ds/DayZbeta.zip

Make a new folder inside of the Operation Arrowhead directory and name it @DayZ

Make another new folder inside the @DayZ folder and name it Addons

Extract the dayz files you downloaded into the Addons folder

Extract and run the beta patch .exe file

Extract the dayz launcher file and put it inside the Operation Arrowhead folder

Right click on the dayz launcher file called DayZbeta and run as administrator and the game should launch :)

When the game loads up press the Alt key and Enter to make it full screen.

ok i still got the same problem

always get these mistake Addon`dayz_anim`requires addon`CA_PMC` after thes i can join log in screen but there also got some errors so if got any other opinion how to fix it pls tell me

( also tested to use dayzcommander update helper but it tells me version out of date but always when i update it it tells errror.

my dayz version is 1.7.2.4) arma 2 version is 95883

Unfortunately you have chosen one of the worst week-ends to install DayZ.

Lots of people connected, lots of people with problems..

I would just like to thank the forum members who have given their help.

Once you have installed the mod it should look something like this...

PMC lite is part of the Default Game.

If you have the Official Patch then PMC should not give any errors.

If you have purchased the game Retail in Germany you should install this (German site).

http://dl1.armed-assault.de/patches/ARMA2OACORFT_Update_162.zip

This will update your game to the latest version.

Check before please.

Have you installed the ArmA 2 v1.62 patch ? Install this > http://downloads2.bistudio.com:8080/arma2.com/update/ARMA2OACORFT_Update_162.zip

That should be the last patch :) Good luck and any problems reply back.
