I'm sitting at a what, 5 minute unconscious screen?

And why? Because I decided to reconnect 15 minutes after a gunfight because no zombies or gear was spawning.

I get in, unconscious. Timer gets halfway, hear a zombie agro and runs over and hits me.

I ALT+F4'ed. What the fuck else am I supposed to do?

it may have done YOU harm, but its done justice to many who have ALT + F4'd after getting hit with a FAL.

you are not suppose to logout when you are in shock.

thats why you get the 5mins penalty.

You don't even get shock for a combat log. 5min timer is pretty much random when logging in.

I missed that, but you're right no one gets prolonged shock for not being in combat - although didn't someone say a while back that the timer doesn't countdown if you log-out?

To be honest it was more around 7-8 minutes, 15 was an exaggeration.

If shock is to combat ALT+F4's, wouldn't it be better to have it last 10-30 seconds?

As I said, nothing was spawning for me. No zombies, no gear. I had to reconnect to fix it, and when I did, unconscious timer for 5 minutes and unable to play because Zombies wallhack me when the timer is halfway.

I think its really fair to be honest, if your killed or in your case unconscious and log out you should have a penalty.. in the perfect world you would drop every piece of gear if you get unconscious and then need to loot it again, stop the alt + f4'ers.

he probably didnt tell the story fully, but either way, as long as he is in shock and logout, that's a penalty. No matter from a gun fight, or car crash

If you logged out at 9000+ HP and wasn't unconscious then its a bug.. you don't logout conscious and login unconscious.

If you was not happy with the server you was in you should gone some where quiet to log out not in a zombie hotspot then the 5 minute shock timer would of been no big deal, never mind lesson learned I,ve had the same issue to.

>loot him

>probably 400m after that find a crashed heli

>run to treeline, lay down and abort

>connect, instantly fall unconscious

No, it's not a selfmade problem, nicebasi you cunt. It's a dodgy as fuck 'shock' system that has done nothing but fuck me over. I know it does this to other players too, as there is always a thread up here saying something along the lines of "Everytime I log in I'm unconscious" or "Just respawned on the beach unconscious for 5 minutes"
