This game is rad, and has so much potential, even though my first time playing was spoiled by hackers, i'm sure that doesn't happen often. Hopefully??

Well, they like an audience, so one way to avoid them is to go in a server that's like 30/50 and keep an eye on the player list (that's still no guarantee). That, and keep an eye out for bizarre stuff going on in the server (Figuring out what the bizarre stuff looks like will take time and actually experiencing most of it all). Finally, just relax and laugh it off, no matter what happens or how bad it gets. That goes for the game itself, not just the hacking.

It happens often. This engine was made to be "hacked"/"scripted" easily. Also the game is in alpha and we are still testing it for the developers. :murder: Good luck!

I've only seen a hacker once in my 2 weeks of play and instantly reported him. They're getting better at catching them, and any player banned on one server is banned on them all. They're becoming less of a nuisance as the days pass.

I've done well to avoid them altogether for nearly a month now.

High pop/PvP and clan servers are usually the main targets of the script kiddies.

Avoid those servers and you improve your chances for a "clean" game.

These are all great responses, thanks guys! This game is so much fun when not being interrupted by invisible players and lame hacks. I will never understand how hackers find joy in cheating. Seems ike the quickest way to make any game feel pointless and lame. I think it's just their way of compensating for a small penis, just like buying a really big truck in real life. So I suppose I should feel sorry for the micro penis hackers... poor guys :/
