    where's Heli Crash spawn ?

Yeah same here. My friends and I will all log into different servers and scour the countryside from the NW Airfield all the way to the south coast and we have found nothing yet.

    where's Heli Crash spawn ?

Are they just SUPER rare? Do they always spawn on server restart, or is there a chance they will not spawn at all? Can anyone post a screenshot or video of a crash site from 0.47?

    Development is too slow

People have been saying that the community is going to lose interest in the game since last year. It's been proven that this is not the case. Nobody is going to walk away from DayZ. Sure people might take a break and wait for more content, but the slow development cycle is not going to stop people from buying the game. On top of this, the developers have been very smart to outline their plans, and make it abundantly clear that the current state of the game is nothing more than a foundation to build on and that improvements will slowly come as 2014 unfolds.
  4. People play games because they are fun, not because they are realistic. Games should NEVER sacrifice fun for the sake of realism. That being said, people really enjoy building a home to call their own. Something away from the already established cities. It also gives people a sense of ownership in the game which increases playability exponentially.

    <Bug> Game Unplayable

People don't understand what the term "unplayable" means.
  6. I just want vehicles to be rare. Perhaps only have a handful of large vehicles mixed in with a more genereous amount of small transport vehicles such as bikes, electric scooters, etc.
  7. I thought of this as well, but I really like the idea of being able to control the depth of field and other controls as well that a Dslr would provide. A way to print them and leave them in the world would be awesome though.
  8. Interesting ideas. I like the camera flash idea. As to the concern about the load that the images might have on the server, perhaps you could make so each memory card could only hold a certain number of photos to keep the quantity down.
  9. Yeah I think it would be pretty incredible to find a camera on a body and look at the photos that they had taken.
  10. I can only imagine the community would snap some amazing shots.
  11. What if you could find a functional camera in DayZ. A DSLR that you could actually take pictures with in game. The camera would be fully functional and you would be able to adjust things like iso, aperture, and shutter speed. The camera would consist of four parts. A body, lens, sd card, and battery. All of these would have to be combined to make it work. Perhaps there could even be multiple lenses in the world to find. 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, and 200mm etc. The photos would be viewable through the inventory system. Right click on camera to see the option "view photos". This would bring the photos up full screen for you to flip through. From here you could select photos to "save". These would be saved to your computer like a screenshot. Think about killing someone and discovering they had a camera, you could then flip through all of their photos. I believe this would add a pretty awesome feature to DayZ that could be enjoyed by the players. Thoughts?
  12. That's the whole point. You should never be able to log out of DayZ unless you are in an area where you feel completely safe. What sucks 10x worse than a log out timer are people who combat log.
  13. This will never change. People are going to kill you because you have gear, or just for fun. The topic of the discussion is how can we add value to the players life beyond his gear so that you will want to stay alive in the event other players steal your things, but choose not to kill you. (Most likely for humanity reasons in the future)
  14. You're missing the point. Everyone cares about their character until they are stripped of all their gear. Then you are back to square one, you are no different than a new spawn even though you may have just survived for days before you were robbed of your things. The value of your character should be deeper than just your gear. What are some suggestions you may have that would meet this goal?
