is the m4a1 camo sd worth the risk?

hey guys.

it's me again with a stupid question :D

i can't complain about my gear. i've got nv (just found - i screamed like a little girl haha), mk48, m9 sd with a lot of mags, ghillie suit etc.

but the thing i really want to own is the m4a1 sd. because i love silenced guns for my kind of gameplay-tactics.

yeah and maybe gps so i can coordinate a little bit easier. thatswhy i'm lurking around the airfield right now, to find one of these things.

but is it worth the risk of getting shot, because i'm too greedy? do i overrate the m4a1 sd? never had it but wanted it the whole time :(

The M4a1 cco sd is a rly nice weapon if you go arround town you wont attract Zombies with it.

I love mine , but the mk 48 mod 0 is a very balanced weapon and its very nice to use i love i too. I have to decide which one i use to my sniper gun all the time. Owning both is nice so if you lose one get the other out of your tent^^

at all i would say its worth to get it.

a M4A1 CCO SD is a 2shot kill to zombies, 3 to players yes its worth it and only takes stanag SD rounds, if you want i have one i really dont want, im a sniper so i dont really need it. if you want it i can give it to you just message me on here.

Killed a guy wielding it using my Makarov. Used it a bit, didn't exactly feel that great as it didn't really sport good long range capabilities. Found another one later on on a ghilli corpse, picked it up to realise it had no ammo so I switched to AKS-74 Kobra. To be honest I don't really want it either. I'm fine as it is with just M24 and M9 SD. Personally, I'd say looting tents and killing off people is a better and safer way to find it.

If you play alone: Yes, good one.

The larger your group the lesser useful is the M4 SD because the rest of your team will make noise anyway.

Good to have a couple of them in the team but that's it. It is just lacking power and range.

I imagine he uses it just for taking down zombies that get too close with a headshot, that's what I do. If I'm going into a heavy PvP zone I'll switch to my primary weapon which is currently the AK-74 Kobra, it takes a few more shots to down a player but it only agros zombies 80m or closer.

Personally I don't like the M4 SD. It's a nice gun and it has it's purposes, but it's short range and low damage aren't enough to make me take it over an M4 Holo or something of that nature.

It really depends on your playstyle and what you're going to use it for. It's a shit PvP weapon damage and range wise, but it's great for getting in and out of towns without attracting attention. That being said, a bizon fills that role better. Although the M4 is better if you end up in a surprise close range engagement with it out. It boils down to personal preference really.

It's more the fact that it's range is only 200m and the bullets like a stone due to being subsonic speed.

Why not just find a Bison? It has a tiny bit less accuracy, and worse sights, but double the mag, and it's not nearly as rare, as well as not in a nearly as dangerous a place.

I had one for awhile and the ammo isn't too hard to find. After a few hours of playing I had 6 mags. Just loot firestations.

I like mine. And yes, it is lower power. But I fly solo 98.5% of the time...so I try to avoid PvP, and so far that has worked.

I did have a meeting engagment at short range at Stary, it was night time, so I was able to drop the first Tango quickly...you can spam that trigger and make up for it's low damage. You get that dot on the target and hit the trigger 5 times...they drop. I got a shot on the second Tango, which allowed me to disengage and get a better position in the warehouse...then I pulled out my DMR.

So...like all tools...it depends on how you plan on using it. I like it. It fits me. I spend far more time with it my hands than my DMR. Infact I usually only pull out the DMR when I know I will be in a high PvP area.

But I am still learning the game, the engine, the players...so don't take my word for it.

And yes, it is rarer than the Bison. I have seen a dozen Bison's at crash sites. I have only found one M4 SD...but luckily the guys I know and play with the other 1.5% of my time let me raid their gear...and they have a few...well had a few. A couple deaths down and they only have a couple left now. Hehe.

i had the M4A1 CCO SD Camo once and it is one of the best silenced weapons in the game excellent for player killing.

M4A1 SD does 2722 dps. Not sure how 2 shots at center mass is going to take anyone down unless they have under 5000 blood. Try 5-6 shots.

The gun is terribly overrated. It's cool to try out once just to hear it but it's weak as hell compared to many other options. I wouldn't waste my time looking for one.
