Within the next few weeks, Max-Gamer Podcast will be having an interview with one of the Dev Team of DayZ, and we are giving you "The Player" the chance to finally ask your questions to the Devs, so post your questions for the developers in this forum and when the interview goes live, you'll hear your name and your question answered! alternatively you can also send in questions to pr@max-gamer.com

Dont miss out on your chance to finally have those nagging questions answered!

We will post when the interview will be aired and where you can listen to it when the time comes!

We here at Max-Gamer enjoy the game ourselves, and would love to hear your feedback as well, so dont be shy, lets hear what you have to ask.

Whats the future for the mod itself, will we see a complete port for ARMA 3, or perhaps a standalone game?

And what can you tell us about the future of DayZ in terms of content/features and mechanics? ( Hoping for big spoilers! )

EDIT; Realised it was terribly formulated, cleaned it up!

DayZ has basically invented a new Zombie Genre. There is nearly no other way to find a persistent, extremely large, cooperative, and realistic zombie experience in all of Gaming.

You have the power to steer this genre in any direction that you choose. Do you plan on expanding with more attention to story or more attention to features, and letting the story be made by the spontaneous gameplay as it currently does?

Alot of players attempt to view DayZ as a microcosm of human behaviour and speculate about what would happen in a real life DayZ. Do you think that this sort of speculation (often based on no evidence) is an asset to the game development or a hinderance?

To what extent do you think that choices and consequences in a game can effect a players morality outside of a game? Do you think it is possible for the medium of video games to influence a persons views on subjects such as murder, and as the developer of DayZ are these sorts of influences something you try to build into the mod?

Game communities often get heavily invested into their favourite franchises. Do you see the role of the DayZ community expanding in the future or retracting as DayZ morphs into a professionally developed title? What aspects of game development are aided the most by community input?

How did you gain the coding and system skills that you now employ to develop the mod? Did you pursue tertiary education or were you self taught to some degree? Which resources would you suggest are valuale to a person wanting to learn these sorts of skills?

How would you feel about DayZ LAN events and would you attend?

You've mentioned that as the mod progresses and gains popularity you have had to be more careful about what you say on the forums. Could you elaborate on this?

You do realize a LOT of people's questions on here get answered directly from rocket himself. The generic sell of "you get the chance" doesn't work when every post on the forum is a chance. This isn't EA/DICE you know. Thank god.

I still appreciate what you're doing and I'll definitely give it a listen just...if you want people to get involved, try a different approach.

And you do realize that a lot of people will get their answers, answered directly as well! Only in Audio format ;D Thanks for the concern though!

I guess its just a way to get more in depth answers to questions which cant be summed up in a quick forum post.

I wonder how much importance rocket puts on player feedback and suggestions. That could be a question.

That's exactly it Ichneumon, in an interview setting you can go more into detail than you could in a quick reply to a forum post. There's details that can be talked over that otherwise may have slipped through the cracks in a text based answer, its simply another way to bring you the listener, and user of the content, the best media possible that can be provided.

does he plan on adding more weapons various types(From base arma2 or OA in general) or more civilian modded in weapons? Or is he happy with the amount in the game now?
