The Axemen Cometh!

Recommended Posts

And lo he who was born cleaved from this world spoke; 'Axe and you shall receive' but the world did not hear him, for the command fell upon the ears of the dead.

It was the prophet who first heard, a proud man, a vain man with all the trappings of success. He who grew greedy and searched the tower of ruin in the great NW abaddon. For his hubris he was struck down by the wicked rifle of a lowly bush devil.

But rejoice for he was born anew and when the round left through the back of his skull the message flooded in.

Yes the prophet walks amongst us.

Humbled and cast down on the beach he sought succor in a barn; a ravenous pack at his heels. Inside he found not one but six axes. A gift, a sign; salvation and redemption.

'Axe and you shall receive' he heard and took up the only arms he would need from now till his salvation. He took up arms and turned to the congregation, and preached the Axelords prayer.

Our ax, who art in barns,

hallowed be thy hacks,

thy blade falls, thy will be done, in cities as well as towns,

give us this day our daily kill,

and assist us in our trespasses,

as we will kill those who trespass against us,

and lead us not to damnation,

but deliver us to evil,

for thine is the tool,

the weapon,

and the slayer,

forever and ever,

amen

And lo the horde was felled. The prophet carried the holy instrument to the church of the old god, the liar god; who promised paradise but delivered purgatory and undeath. There in the church of Berezino he laid down the axe and founded the Axemen of Berezino.

Who walk the holy path. Seek us on the highways, in the churches and high places. For healing arts protection or council in these troubled times. All can find solace amongst the Axemen. The prophet awaits divine instruction, the tenets shall be revealed once the prophet completes the pilgrimage.

Mayhaps you will see the prophet as he walks the coast road.

gotta say some pretty original shit

Most is ripped straight out of existing religions but with Axe put in there for good measure. Also the Prophet wouldn't be the same prophet who killed me with an axe and looted my corpse would he? Not so holy there buddy. Only reason I ask is because when I went back to get my stuff my bag and inventory was just crammed full of axes.

Also this guy he an axeman? http://www.twitch.tv/justxrippedn1ck/b/327671117

Idle threats and craven. But to be expected from a bush devil. No doubt this bullet would be delivered from a range while you crawl amongst the undergrowth. There is no dignity laying in the dirt son.

Know this RunningtheNightsoil if you kill me I lose but my axe and through his power I am reborn, if I kill you however it is customary to take all your possessions, take them into the sea and offer them back to the waters from which we entered the world.
