Because said idiot (me) logged out on Skalisty Island, and my boat was gone when I logged back in. Going to starve/freeze at this rate.

Anyone with a PBX or Chopper (or a fishing boat, although we may both starve to death by the time we back across the water) able to come get me, I have decent gear in my tent (opposite end of the map) for payment.

Depending on the server, you can swim across without losing your gear. Unless all servers are like that now, not sure

Given that my character is not in great shape and it's night time, I would probably freeze/catch a cold trying to swim it. Furthermore, I don't feel like dropping my hard earned stuff in the water.

I will eagerly watch from next to my small campfire on skalisty. Currently throwing flares out every few minutes to try and attract help and killing the zombies in between flares to scavenge beans and soda.
