0xdecafbad 0 Posted August 8, 2012 Finally got BEC running. It says Super Admin joined in the console window when I connect. I open up the chat box and run a command like !say or !uptime but it just goes through like a regular chat message. What am I missing? (Not sure if the uptime command was originally !update but I changed it in the command config file)
polli 57 Posted August 8, 2012 You need to setup a schedul.xml file. Just look at the install instruction on http://ibattle.org/install-and-configure/setting-up-the-scheduler/
0xdecafbad 0 Posted August 8, 2012 That is to run commands on a schedule. Here is says you can send commands through the regular Arma chat http://ibattle.org/install-and-configure/General-Command-Info-and-Usage/. But when I try to run a command through chat it just looks like it goes through like a regular chat message.
cm. (DayZ) 28 Posted August 8, 2012 Everything you need is included in the instructions.I seriously don't think it can be dumbed down any further than it is.
0xdecafbad 0 Posted August 8, 2012 So if I'm reading that right if no one is around me, and if im not in a group, or a vehicle, then the server will only get my command if I send it via global chat. How do I do that if there is no global chat...
Pheenix89 12 Posted August 8, 2012 The chat is always there, just not enabled for ppl to read.

st3reo 12 Posted August 29, 2012 (edited) And what exactly is the password or where do you define it? Is it the rcon password? On the BEC main webpage it clearly states:"Once a admin has been verified he/she is free to send commands defined in the command file. No log-ins are required."But I am having the same problem, I'm recognized as an admin but no commands go through to the server on any channel, even though the group channel should work since we`re all in the "Survivors" group.*EDIT: yes it seems it's the rcon password, well that totally beats the purpose of having BEC with multiple levels of admins. At least for me..as I want to only give access to a few commands to my admins..not give them absolute power with rcon.Is there any other way of sending commands though to the server without needing to login using rcon pass ? Maxxgold (DayZ) 62 Posted October 17, 2012 Solved. For those of you wanting to know how to have BEC automatically log you in to the Rcon on your server so you can automatically use the global chat channel without having to type #login Password. All you have to do is to download Anti-Hax and use it in conjunction with BEC. In the config file you set your Rcon password and it will automatically log you in to rcon every time you or one of your Admin's joins the server.
