FlOoDer64 1 Posted August 8, 2012 (edited) Alright now, please don't get pissed as I know there are SO many topics about that.I did EVERYTHING people said to do on every forums.- I uninstalled/reinstalled Arma2+OA+DayZ+Six Launcher- I updated my graphic card drivers- I tried flushing (left shift and "-" on numpad)- I tried all ingame graphic settings- I tried windowed mode, full screen mode.- I ate an entire cake while standing upside down on one arm.Nothing gets rid of these shitty artifacts. All I want from you guys is to tell me if there is something else I could try. If not, I don't care, just tell me to wait for a damn patch and I won't be mad at all, I totally get that it's in Alpha Test. Just knowing that I tried everything I could would be great. I could finaly sleep in peace ('cuz, you know, all I've got to do is sleep since I can't play because of all those artifacts in every damn city I go through. Thanks in advance everyone! :)EDIT: I also tried changing my scene complexity to sceneComplexity=100000 with the Notepad. FlOoDer64 1 Posted August 8, 2012 Yes, I do know, don't worry... I type in flush and then screen goes black.

peterbrookskia@hotmail.co.uk 0 Posted August 9, 2012 I get the graphical glitches sometimes as well. I've found that exiting the server and completely closing the game down and booting it up again (via six launcher server select) solves it.Kind of lengthy and annoying but it works for me. Whereas flush does not in any way.
FlOoDer64 1 Posted August 9, 2012 Never heard of that, will try and give feedback! Thanks. But you guys can keep on replying :D
jivix 2 Posted August 9, 2012 I've tried Strikeshot's suggestion on my own several times, and I can attest that it definitely does not work for me. I was doing a NWAF raid when all of the sudden my screen got artifacts no matter what direction I was facing, so I was forced to log out there because I did not know what direction I was running. Trying again a few hours later after getting back on DayZ didn't change anything, I had to have a non-artifacting friend lead me out of there like I was a blind survivor.I've tried setting memory to default, using the latest Beta patch (which seems to help in certain cases, at one point I was able to walk around Cherno normally), flushing, setting texture detail to low, lowering the 3d resolution, and nothing seems to help. I guess we just have to wait for 1.7.3 with the rebinarized model files.
FlOoDer64 1 Posted August 9, 2012 Alright, thanks a lot for your replies guys. I'll just wait for the next patch. I can't wait for the standalone too :D

MicroDude 1 Posted August 9, 2012 (edited) Okay-Doki ! I remember reading a fix for this somewhere else.. Im'a try to recap what he/she said:-First of all you need Notepad++ (Its for editing the file correctly without corrupting it)-After installing that you will need to locate your ARMA2OA Profile. Should be in -> C:\Users\<YOURNAME>\Documents\ArmA 2-Then you are going to right click it, "edit with notepad++". And now the tricky part, hit CTRL+F and then write in "sceneComplexity" or use keywords.-Now u change the "sceneComplexity=150000" (or other if it's different) to "sceneComplexity=100000;"-And then you launch your game, and if the grapichs bug still appears then you go into options->video options-> advanced options and you turn "VSync" OFF (or ON) and then wait for it to load, for then to change it back ON (or OFF, if you desire)I did all of the above, and when-ever i see the bug, i just quickly change the VSync. And then it works like a charm :)IMPORTANT EDIT: WHEN YOU RESTART THE GAME, THE COMPLEXITY WILL BE CHANGED BACK TO 300000. YOU WILL HAVE TO CHANGE THIS BACK ON RESTART. (Or if the grapichs still are bugged) Edited August 9, 2012 by MicroDude
