What happened: I have been playing on US#500 Vet server hosted by Multiplayer that is adminstrated by a person named "Aarons". I have been playing on this server from sometime now with couple of my friends and we had setup our own camps. One day I saw come marks on map with some people's camp location. I noted the location down, today I planned to check the location of the camps. I went there and out of nowhere, i started getting rained by DMR shots. Dodging the bullets by juking around, I manage to keep myself alive. I found a decent hideout and to my surprise, 2 guys in a jeep are coming right at me. I kill them easily by shooting at windshield. I get death messages, "Aarons was killed." and another "Cigga was killed." I quickly noticed that I had just killed admins but I didn't really expect any admin abuse. I cheered, stole their jeep and started to loot them. To my surprise, the guy "Cigga" was carrying a hacked weapon. I didn't give it much thought and this isn't a report hacked items. I finally move on and this was my lucky day, I found the motherlode! admin campsite. Ural, other truck, pickup truck, 6 campsites, red car, chopper. Of course I immediately took the chopper and started head south to my mates to show off my bounty! i finally made it south and picked up my friend. By now it has been around 30 or so minutes since I had killed admin and his campsite was way wayyy north. So I take it he took these 30 minutes to wake up all the way back to his camp to find out that his choppers been looted by me. That's when he banned me for having "higher latency". The only reason he waited 30 minutes to ban me after I killed him was because he was heading back to his tents to see if I found his main campsite and I had. Thus he banned me. Now I ask you only one thing, is having higher latency actually ban worthy? He didn't ban me because i had higher latency, I've played on that server for days now! all my friends almost have the same latency as me, a german clan plays here too, with higher latency then me. It was just a pure and perfect example of admin abuse.

TL;DR: Killed admin, found his main campsite, stole his items and his chopper. 30 minutes later he finds out i took his chopper and i got ban hammered. Full details in the full story above.

Evidence/Proof:

1)Picture of custom ban. Server hasn't had any latency cap for days and all of a sudden when I killed admin, looted his camps, stole his chopper and I'm banned for high latency? coincidence? no.

2)Picture of me mailing the admin a few hours before this incident about the hacking problem and some issues I was experiencing. The issue was resolved soon after as all our camps were all returned to their original position. I meant well for this guy, didn't realize he had this kind of personality.

3) Picture of confirmation that above email mentioned is actually the US #500 admin's email. He has set his email contact as MOTD of the server whenever you join in case we need to contact him. As soon as I was banned, I asked one of my mates to go on the server and take screenshot of the MOTD of his email contacts so we can prove that above email was sent to his legit email prior to the current issue.

I would really appreciate if community supports this issue. I'm not the guy who sees any hacker and blindly blames the admin without knowing the actual powers given to admins. I really love the game and has been supporting it throughout the way. Unfortunately, few people, such as Aarons, are giving us a bad name. I'm not mad, i'm not pissed at all. I'll start over again tomorrow. In some other server. But him, he's here to stay, unless DayZ dev team can do something about this. Thanks for your time people. Cheers.

Yes, that's never been an issue. I might as well host my own server, soon. Been thinking about that. But had to report this abuse nonetheless. :)

**update** The admin has changed his server name from "Aarons Server" to "Tharos Server". Figured he saw this thread already.

this server is KNOWN for having abusive adims and hackers by members of the community. it has been reported several times and nothing. hope these guys get the big old boot

Yes, he did. As far as I know, having high latency is not a bannable offense. Unless I'm mistaken? The server had allowed latency upto 300 previously. But having higher latency is not the main motive behind my ban. It was just because he was probably mad at me for killing him, and stealing his chopper.

It's not a bannable offense, but they can set the server to automatically kick people with high pings, but 100 is obviously too low.

I talked to his host and they are going to speak to him about it and correct it.

If only i had read this post before joining the server I could have saved myself and all my kit from being teleported and killed not once but 3 times in a row!!! After playing on this sever for 3 days with no problems who knew..... I only hope I can make it to the area my tent was in on a another sever and then hop back into this one and get my stuff.

id give the stuff up man. unless you jump in and grab it and get out. i havent been on a server in weeks that hasnt been hacked to death with spawners, teleporters, hacked items teleporting me into the ocean, invisible ghost people running around with silenced weapons...

then i seen a message from battleye trying to say they banned 10000 players and are working the issue... srsly. dont care what you did before mate, i care what you do for me now.

Thanks but as my friends confirm. Because they are still playing on that server, admin is harboring a hacking friend. With hacked weapons and spawned vehicles/choppers. Just keep a close eye on this server as I'm hearing tons of people telling me about admin abuse + admin harboring his hacking friends.
