Got kicked by batlle eye for script restriction #185 ??

so i bought arma 2 on steam yesterday and iv een playing for about 3 hours on ANZ 1 when all of a usdden i got kicked for script restriction #185 what does this mean ?? im a bit worried

I've been kicked for script restrictions too but I've never used a script in my life.

obviously if i was cheating i wouldnt have asked why i got kicked i haven't cheated at all i had the game all of 2 days and im not going to waist 30 dollars for 5 mins of glorified cheating and get banned am i ?

Unfortunately you don't get banned.

Most servers are getting wise to this exploit and adding in this restriction, to stop cheaters like yourself.

what part of i didnt CHEAT dont you understand you arsehole im asking what the restriction means because i have no idea i installed the game through steam downloades six launcher it installed dayz and i played no cheating what so ever ffs

ANZ 1 has one of the tightest securities for a public hive server. Sometimes you get kicked even if you aren't hacking, but if you are... well, they have more ways to deal with hackers than most other servers. It's a good choice for a server, as long as you are fine with getting scanned and stuff when logging in like entering the states as a foreigner.

yes i dont mind getting scanned and stuff i go on that server because it has a really low ping as it loacated close to me but what did it find wrong and how do i fix it ?

I suspect the script number depends om the local scripts.txt file and isn't a global standard (though each server update has a default scripts.txt)

Sounds lile this server runs a custom script file so you need to ask the local admins what this is.

I am pretty sure removing files isn't detected as a script as that's a seperate check again configurable server side.

You do get kick for invalid/corrupt/missing files but not for scripts in this case.

Also be aware with over a million players some will legitimatly loose or corrupt these files and not be cheaters...
