tyler@tytanis.com 28 Posted August 7, 2012 (edited) Hello all!Just got a server and I would like to invite everyone to try it out!This is not a clan server.You will never have to worry about admin abuse.We will ONLY kick/ban for racism and cheating.Restarts will be minimum (let's try once a month!).Settings (Difficult, CH, 3DP, etc) may change every month.Current settings: Veteran, CH:OFF, 3DP:ON, VOIP:ON, Max Ping: 500.Again, hosted by Tytanis (author of the popular Skyrim mod @ http://skyrim.nexusm...ile.php?id=1601).Our forums are getting overhauled, and once they are finished, we will add a DayZ section for hacker/racism reports and other concerns. We may also get a Teamspeak server if enough people are interested.8/10/2012 - Updated to 1.7.2.58/11/2012 - Updated to Arma2OA - 95883!8/11/2012 - Changed max ping limit to 500! SiGouin 25 Posted August 7, 2012 sounds cool, but regular ruins the gameplay with peoples name plates showing up when their half wa across the map without ever seeing them, blowing your cover... and it makes it too easy to get sniped, because the sniper can too easily zero his rifle. if it switches to veteran id play it. Zoop 343 Posted August 7, 2012 You can tailor the server to your preferences. You can run a regular server and just switch off those things you don't like, like crosshairs or nameplates, etc.Also, in general, I find restarting a server twice a day is often best. msadler 5 Posted August 9, 2012 Well We did plan on making this our "Home" But we came back today and discovered all our Vehicles gone along with everything we had transfered over from weeks of looting that was stored in them GONE. WTF??It would have been nice to send out a Notice letting us know that you plane on doing a complete restart.setup and changing to Vetern so we could have saved our stuff elswhere . Man this is BS.
