Any wya to remove annoying server messages from in-game?

Is there any way to remove the annoying server messages from the side when people connect? I don't mind it telling me who connected, but every time someone connects it also says which games/DLCs they own, and that's really not necessary. It spams up the chat and it gets pretty annoying at times, especially if people join in quick succession.

It is not possible server side, but there is a client mod that filters out these messages, see this thread on BI forums. Not sure if it will work with DayZ though.
