Where's the loot at Heli crash sites?

I've only found 2x heli crash sites but where do you look for the loot? There's nothing on the heli itself which activates the scroll menu and I can't see anything lying around next to it. What's the score?

- Gear hidden in the grass around the helicopter, look at the floor and walk around it.

The shit is laying in the grass,under the door panels and sometimes under the tail. Crawl around it scrolling the mouse wheel for "gear" or "drop weapon for" from the gunners positions outward and all around the chopper out to about 10 feet. If it wasnt stripped clean you'll score something. Some servers restart rarely and EVERYTHING gets picked clean. Others restart often and you can score great stuff. Good luck.

Oh one more thing. Do not put a friggin bookmark on the map! Everyone will see it and by the time you return to score the rest of the loot should you wish to someone will be set up to snipe you. Never go to a crash site listed on the map for the same reason.

Crashsites spawn 4 loot piles in a small cirle around the helicopter. These piles can be anywhere close around the crash or below it. Depending on the surface around it, some piles can be very hard to spot. Try crawling to flatten the grass or generally sweep your view around on the ground, while you scroll your mouse wheel.

more like you stumbled on already looted crash sites...

and m8 don’t just run towards the crash sites, sooner or later you will found out that there are players with lots of patience and u will lose your head on the site..

Crawl around the heli,

There is 6 loot places or maybe 8.

The 6 that I know are here:

Once loot spawns around a chopper, it won't again.

If you roll around the grass near the chopper: better have some morphine handy.

Its a lot easier if you move away (if possible) and use the binocs from a distance when the foliage disappears around the chopper that way you can easily see if there is anything and where it is then move in closer remembering where it is and looking down till the cursor changes.

I don't think there are designated loot locations, just a circular trigger, where 3-4 loot piles spawn. That's why sometimes, the loot is below the helicopter and some mistakenly think they are accessing the helicopters gear menu.
