The NW Airfield

I had a pretty good run on the NW airfield today, as well as several towns around it. What I did was arm myself up a bit at the South airfield, made sure to get a G17 to have a weaponized flashlight, and have some ammo, then I made my way up North in the early evening so I could still see. By the time it was night (actually much later, around midnight), there weren't as many people on the server, I posted some hints about loot or w/e in nearby towns to hopefully lure any guys away from the airfield, and then went in at the South end through the trees.

Once in, I found a few tents with gear in them, so I loaded up on what I could there and then checked the buildings. On my way out one of the times, I ran into a guy just outside, but fortunately he didn't have a flashlight, I blinded him with mine, and when he started shooting me, I dropped him. That brought in a TON of zombies, but fortunately they were munching on the guy's dead body, so I threw a frag grenade I picked up, and took most of them out.

After that, I got the hell out of there, making sure not to use my light unless absolutely needed, and I survived. Now I'm going to set up a tent a few kicks out to stash a second G17 I picked up, and make some more runs in for loot later.

If you can get on a server at a crazy time, say, 3 am irl and night time on the server to get rid of most players, you can probably avoid people who want to kill you altogether and spend plenty of time looking for loot.
