No need for Antibiotics?

I managed to go AFK for a bit while getting caught up in the Mars landing business and forgot that it was night time in my server.

I came back after 20 minutes, and the dreaded cough showed up, as I watched my blood slowly tick down.

Realizing how rare antibiotics are, I accepted my fate and continued to watch my post.

After dropping from around 11,000 blood, I hit 5998.3 health and I mysteriously stopped ticking down blood.

However, I still hear the cough.

Does the infection stop hurting you after you hit a certain health? And only ticks away while you're above the certain health?

Interesting. Anyone else?

Antibiotics are common. Go to a hospital and loot the bottom part, you may have to shoot the glass out. Antibiotics commonly spawn in hospital loot piles, you may need to leave and come back if they do not appear instantly.

I see that it says it "slows down" once it hits 6,000, but for the past 15 minutes I havn't lost any.

And I've been in the bottom of a hospital around 10 times and have never seen any anti-biotics. Just unlucky I guess.

1. You can just die,for example, at the cost - just ask your friend to help you;) Then quickly respawn at the necessary point and run at top speed to your corpse

I have found antibiotics to be as rare as too, i have looted hospitals many many times and very rarely found AB's, my current box i got from a tent raid. It had plenty of everything but only 1 x AB. Defintely not common.

That means absolutely nothing. You just got very lucky. They're not common at all.

I always find anti biotics in hospitals but I'm pretty sure I'm just lucky.

If you eat/regain blood above that, you'll resume losing blood until the 6k mark. Antibiotics are the only cure.

I'm sitting at 6,700 blood after eating and its staying at that, and also no more coughing.

My friend was infected, it should have stopped at 6000 because that's where it stopped for him, if anyone gets to close they will also be infected as it is constantly calculating. Antibiotics are a bit to rare in my opinion though, took him almost a full week to find some.

Odd I found the illness cured itself over time but I did spend time by a fire to get my body heat back up.

I do have antibiotics now too just in case and never found them that hard to get but yes not common.

Did you try thr millitary medical tents as well as hospital, they seem to be almost common there

Funny thing is, the infection did stop, but needing to stop at Berezino regardless due to the fact that our tent's med supplies were basically non-existent:

ONE box contained antibiotics. Haha, either they increased the loot chance or it was extremely coincidental.
