    No need for Antibiotics?

That means absolutely nothing. You just got very lucky. They're not common at all.

    Recommended Inventory?

I like to carry around a Jerry Can of gas in case I run into any vehicles that are operational but out of gas. I also like having a smoke gredade they're great for surviving a sniper if you've got one shooting at you.

IF this was an actual game...

Game purchase. You're not providing the content you're providing the sandbox the way I see it. I'm willing to pay monthly to an MMO because they have to make PvE, quests, maintain servers etc. Free to play is fine for games with classes and roles or "heroes" like in MOBAs I feel, where you can "max" a few classes/heroes/whatevers and compete with people dropping hundreds of dollars but not this one so much. Sell cosmetic stuff if you need cash. Studio Developed. This is a great idea but it's needs professional polish to be a great game. For servers, just allow community servers no matter what even if you want to run some "official" ones. Locking this game down after it started as a mod with community servers supporting it would be a gigantic "fuck you" to all the people that put up servers and got them working I feel like. PC Gaming is about community servers to me. People like to run their own servers, have a little "home" for their clan, with their settings and their rules and it's nice to have a variety of server options, mods, etc.
  4. "We were innocently flying around the server with a hacked chopter ruining the game for everyone going up and down the coast with our gammas set to 100 at night chain gunning people down every time they spawned and some ASSHOLE restarted the server! What an ASSHOLE!" Because surely you didn't ruin anyone else's "best moments" in the game with your hacked chopper...

    Broken bones..SPLINTS

I'd like to see it work like this: Morphine doesn't cure broken bones, just lets you ignore the pain. So if you break your leg, a shot of morphine would let you move around for maybe the duration of a thirst/hunger meter going from full to empty. After that the morphine "wears off," your leg is still broke, so you have to shoot up again or fix it with a... Splint. But the splint wouldn't let you walk. If you applied a splint, in the same duration morphine lasts, your leg would begin to heal, but without morphine, you'd still have to crawl for awhile. So this means morphine is only a temporary solution to your problem which is how it should be in a real survival scenario.

    I finally committed a murder..

My first murder occurred when a guy tried to train about 30 zombies toward me yelling "help me help me" on voice. I told him to stop following me with them but he didn't listen. So he got shot in the leg. Then eaten.

    Infected need advice.

You can get it from other people who already have it. I've seen 1 antibiotics while I've been playing, and gotten infected one time. Both are very rare, and the chance of finding antibiotics when you're infected... Slim to none. Best bet is the tent or if you find a vehicle, even if they're broken, you can store stuff in them.

Hmmmmm MMO... Massive...multiplayer...online.... Why it seems that's exactly what we have here. As for ideas.... -Bases would be really cool. Real ones with structures etc. -Events. There was a threat that suggested crashed helicopters don't just spawn, but actually fly over and crash, and everyone can see them and would be lured there. But I'd like to see more events like this. Things that occur, alert everyone in the area simultaneously, and offer a very limited time chance for very, very good stuff at the cost of very high risk. -Much more difficult zombies and varied zombie threats like herds etc. -Harder survival. Leave food and water alone but way more other stuff. Insects need bug spray or you have to stop and itch randomly. Sleep requires caffeine pills if you've been logged in for too long or you nod off and your screen goes black for a few seconds every so often when you stop moving. Weather can easily kill you and shelter protects you (including tents). Depression requires Anti-Depreseants (it's a lonely world...).

    Alternative food sources

I like it! And well we're on the subject, I should be able to drink a cow's blood to stave off thirst.
  10. You and every other asshole on this forum that just loves chanting your little dayz memes with no semblance of intelligent thought behind them are far, far more annoying than the loading screens. I'd be surprised if there was more than 5% of the DayZ playerbase that was unaware this was an alpha. What exactly are you accomplishing going from thread to thread, finding every complaint and suggestion and dumbly chiming in with "It's an alpha so alpha cause alpha alpha so quit alpha whining alpha alpha alpha alpha alpha?" I hope you're an alpha too. And I hope the beta version of you isn't such a prick.

    A Move towards Subtle UI

I don't like this idea because those are all things that humans have actual real-life meters for sort of. I've got a pretty good feeling for how hungry, thirsty, injured, or cold I am at all times so it makes sense to me to always have the meters.
  12. Well, you're right but you're not going to be functional on morphine either. You'll be high as a kite, nodding off, and might end up passing out right where you are. If all you have is a headache or sore joints or whatever, going straight to IV Morphine is a little bit of an overkill.

    Thanks for the ATV

The only vehicle I've gotten to use before today was a motorcycle which I rode for approximately 5 seconds before the person I stole it from began to try to shoot me off it and I crashed it into him kililng us both. But today I found a boat. So I took the boat for a ride down the coast for some loot. First place I stopped a guy with a motorcycle pulled up and I shot at him and he ran and Alt-F4d. So now I had a motorcycle. I hid the boat, hid the bike, hid the boat better, and on the way to hiding the bike better I found an ATV. On the way to getting the ATV closer to where I hid the bike, I crashed the ATV (whoops). I collected some parts to repair the ATV, but on the way back to the ATV I found a pick-up truck full of guns. A friend logged on and I picked him up in the truck. On our way back I saw a van in the forest. Now I have a van. On my way to hiding the van I found another ATV filled with goodies. So after hardly ever seeing a vehicle in this game, and only getting to drive one for a total of 5 seconds, I now have: 1 Boat 2 ATVs 1 Motorcycle 1 Truck 1 Van Which I found all in about 4 hours. I'm about ready to open my own dealership.
  14. I've got a great idea for this game: ONE fucking loading bar. Just one that tells you how close you are from actually being able to move around and play. Not like...2 loading bars, then a menu, then another 2 loading bars, then "waiting to create..." then "loading..." then "starting..." So annoying.
  15. Yeah it happened to someone I was playing with a bunch of times. We believe that it WAS lag since sometimes it would take him like 2-3 minutes to loot while the rest of us were fine. It seemed like he would start lagging, and his position wouldn't update to the server, and when it did, he'd be back where the lag started since the server was never told he was moving. Reconnecting would fix it for awhile then it'd start again.
