Been there but he game is too glitchy near the military buildings. Had to leave and raid deer stands nearby. Not the most eventful of stories I guess

Yeah. Went there today and really wanted to look around but my screen kept on getting infested with large stretched textures. Could barley see a thing if I got too close. Guess that's my Green Mountain Curse

I remember going there with my friend to look for a vehicle spawn and the place was empty.

So we decided to head back out from the tower and I turn around to gaze at the the tower and I see someone on the platform of the tower!

My friend said he couldn't see anyone at all, so we decide to go a little closer.

When I looked with my binoculars there was no one there any more...

I was planning on going back tomorrow, but I am not so sure...

I recently went to Green Mountain. Not knowing what it was and assuming there was loot to be had I took it on. I logged off to take a break and at that point I was next to the radio tower about to move in. I came to these forums for the first time in my break and learned of what it was. I thought it was cool DayZ had it's own herobrine. I logged on to take it on hoping for a nice story and some loot to come back with. Hindsight, that was an awful idea. I came out with all my ammo wasted, 4k blood, and a nice little concussion a Zed from behind decided to give me. I came out alive only to have spawned into a thunder dome. Uneventful but at least now I know. Never fucking go to Green Mountain.

I found a tractor in a field and started to head north, It was starting to go dark on the server I was on, Travelling along I came across the legendary green mountain (easily distinguished by its tower) and took the silly decision to pay it a visit.

For some reason upon arrival nothing spawned, no zombies, no loot.. the place was dead.... I took haste back to the tractor planning to continue north when a zombie appeared right infront of me it hit me enough to start the bleed process and in a state of panic i tried to lose it by running around the buildings.. then as I was doing this more and more were spawning, I was losing a lot of blood and starting to think bad things.

I somehow managed to lose them and bandage myself up, I was down to 2500 blood and shaking like a drug addict missing his fix... so I hit the deck and crawled all the way back to where I left the tractor, I got inside and started to pull off, here they came running at me like a pack of rabid, 28 days later'esque, blood hungry, asylum rejects... I was frantically panning my view to see where they were and while not looking where I was heading I went over a pile of rubble and lost control, Hit into one of the wrecked humvees just outside the entrance.. The tractor was instantly dead, I was thrown out of it unconscious and bleeding.. they came running onto my body.. It was clear I was going to die.. Next thing I knew I'm staring at the 'You Are Dead' screen.

So yeah, the place is a bad omen.. I am never going to that place EVER again.
