I Found A Dog

I was on NL 21 and I found a dog in Cherno. What sorcery is this?

It is hard to see, but look just ahead of the zombie in the first door on the left, you will see a brown blotch. This is a german shepard. You may need to zoom in a bit, but I also saw it up close and it was definately a dog. I apologize for the bad picture, but I didn't want to get too close because obviously there is a guy with a gun right near it.

They didn't do much, but they ran around in circles. I'm not sure if that meant they were fighting the zombie or just bugging out. It also did not attack me. So, could this have been wild or tamed by a player? Either way, this was a cool find.

So was this a beta server? It still said 1.7.2.4, however I knew these were intended but not added yet.

Or, could this have been a hacker/admin that obtained the dog file somehow?

I really enjoy how stupid some people think admins can do everything a hacker can. We can kick you, lock a server, ban you, or send a message to you, that's it.

Hackers can do more than admins. They can slay you, thunderdome you, aimbot, teleport you, spawn items, the list goes on. Doing this effectively kicks a person because they will eventually quit playing on that server. However, admins must abide by rules, of which can be easily broken.

I still don't understand why you put hacker/admin, why not just put hacker/player...

Although, thank you for grouping me and many others with illegitimate players, I really feel wanted and appreciated around here.

I don't mind regular admins.

Its just the ones that abuse their power.

What he is saying is that an Admin could never abuse their power in this fashion.... they could only be hackers.

There's nothing to abuse unless to lock the server and grab all the good stuff. Hackers can spawn items, Admins can't. And that's good like it is right now.
