LOG OUT, quit right away, if you spawn thunder domed or are dead before you enter, quit the server right away.

Get on another server and you should get all your gear back, your position will be at the shore line but at least you don't lose a thing.

I got transported to a thunderdome last week. As I appeared on the ground I ABORT'ed. I logged on to another server and had all my stuff, the only thing that saved was my location. I was where the thunderdome was on the previous server (NWAF). Sheer luck.

Exactly, don't fight. They want you to fight and kill eachother, they find it amusing. Instead, just log out and go play elsewhere.
