Technological dunce needs help..

Recommended Posts

Hello, I've been really interested in Day-z and Arma: II CO, but there is a few problems, I'm not the kind of guy who knows what he is doing.

So here is my question, will my computer be able to run Arma: II and Day-z? These specs don't mean too much to me lol.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks, but I don't really know what any of that means.. :{

Hey Shellder, your problem according to the screenshots you sent is the GFX.

It's an internal Intel chio and it's really not going to cut it, though I must admit I did not look into the specifics of your chip. Even if it works it will not be the least bit satisfactory.

The good news is, everything else you have is good enough to run it (even if your CPU is a bit on the low end), but all you need to add is a video card better than the minimum specs listed.

Let me know if you need a hand finding one and pricing.

Cheers.

Old CPU with integrated graphics (aka no external GPU) will not run the mod very well if at all. You can try "Arma II free" and see how that performs, if you cannot get that working then you have no hope because DayZ is more resource intensive.

A new PC is recommended.
