New, More realistic vehicle. The SUV.

I get that, we have pickup trucks, vans, sedans, hatchbacks, but no SUVs? (Not talking about the armored one, with the m134 4000rpm minigun. That'd be cool too, tho.)

Everyone knows the vehicle of choice in a zombie apocalypse would be a big truck.

We don't have the Marauder on ArmAII, unfortunately... But we have the SUV!!!

Pros:

-Realistic, non-military vehicle.

-It's a very nice truck, test drive it in the editor!

-It's not that tough, at least not as tough as an Ural, but it's fancy and looks great. To some people, that matters a lot.

Cons:

-More vehicles added. Not sure if this is a con or not.

-Not sure if there are any more cons.

Good idea, I really think that almost in the way you repair i car, collect scrap metal and put armor on the car/suv and if you have an LMG, (m240, Mk48.) Put that on the car for Fire power would be Awesome. Alas wont happen anytime soon if it does happen. But good idea, to an extent you just have to be careful how many vehicles on the map, due to it being survival and not everyone can be parading around in a car, obviously.

I would love to see a jeep with a mounted machine gun. (like in far cry 2)

why does everyone want more thing's in the game when you get killed by opening a gate or lose weapons/items you worked hard to find every now and again. Let them get through alpha and get the bugs out before even thinking about more vehicle's in my opinion

Personally No thanks. SUV = Gas guzzler and most have a really poor frame with sub par off road abilities (most not all). That combined with poor weight distribution giving in to easy tip overs.

In a game environment it seems ok but realisticly its not ideal and whos going to be going for looks in a zombpocalypse.

I think this is a Land Rover. I'd definitely prefer that to the SUV (though the SUV has 5 seats, if I'm not mistaken). Just imagine you can fill up all the jerry cans and spare tires on this beast :) (UAZ has 5 too)

The problem is it's really overpowered :)

There is a reason we see so few cars in game. Dayz is not a driving simulator and cars make the zombie spawns lag. You can drive around the whole map without seeing one Infected.

But in Arma 2 SUV's gas is great and has pretty good off road abilities. I have seen an SUV in DayZ because of hackers but I didn't know SUV's weren't in the game so I picked it up. SUV's wouldn't be such a bad idea.
